Christen Oakes is a Master of Landscape Architecture student at the University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. She is interested in how landscapes access and alter the emotional realms of their inhabitants, and in using pedagogy to inspire others. With a background in industrial design and intermedia art, she moves between design, art, and theory as methods for her work.
